10A How I Think I Did

Midterm Video

Watching my video now I noticed a few things differently. I think there are well done parts but there are also parts that could use some more touching up. First, I’ll focus on the things that could use some work, my interviews came out good but all of them were written out in text. I think it would have been much more effective if I had actually took a video of the students and professors I interviewed. Another thing I noticed was spelling errors, I had looked over my video so many times before publishing it but still had some misspelled words. Lastly another thing I could have worked more on was the music. I found it really hard to switch songs but still make it sound okay.
Even though there are parts that need work I think I did other parts very well. My main goal was to show as much of Southern’s spirit as I could which I think I accomplished. I showed a lot of the sporting events, and how each of the halls decorated their lobbies and common areas. I also showed how everyone wears Southern attire and likes to dress up for the games to support our teams. I think I had a clear beginning middle and end, I used a lot of text to help the viewer understand more bout the pictures I included how Southern shows school spirit.
Overall, I think I deserve some where around a B for this video. The mistakes I did have are fixable. I also met all of the requirements by getting it done on time and having the right length requirement. It was also my first time using iMovie, so I’m pretty happy how it came out since it was my first video! If I could revise this video I definitely would, I would fix the spelling errors, work more on the music, and try and record some of the videos to give more effect.  All in all, I liked this assignment because it was something different and I had fun putting it together!
