14A Stress Relievers

After being in school for so long without any breaks it does start to catch up to you, creating stress. With finals coming up it’s getting hard to concentrate on even the little tasks. Before finals come closer I think it’s important to get away from school for a bit to clear my mind. The best way for me to clear my mind is being with my family. With thanksgiving coming up I will be with my family and catching up with them. I’ll also be back home with my friends, which will be tons of fun since I haven’t seen some of them for months now.
            When I’m really stressed I like to get away from the environment I’m in. Sometimes getting away from the people you’re constantly with and changing up your routine can help a lot. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because I’m with family that I don’t get to ever see besides thanksgiving so its always tons of fun being on break with them. Another thing that’s important when I’m stressed is getting enough sleep at night. Being at school it can be hard to get sleep because you’re always surrounded by people, it’s loud, and it’s also not your real home. Sometimes I go home on the weekends and when I come back to school I feel so much more refreshed because I get better sleep at home.
            All in all, this week I will be relaxing a lot with my family and friends. I definitely wont be focusing on any schoolwork because I think its good to get away from it for a while. I’ll also be focusing on getting tons of sleep. I think all this will reenergize me and prepare me for the next two weeks afterwards, which will be finals week.
