For my final assignment I will be
making another video in inquiry like I did for the midterm. This time the video
is on a problem and solution. I decided to talk about roommate and dorm
problems. Being a freshman in college I want to make sure my video has a lot of
beneficial information and is at a college level. A few ways of doing that are
using quotes from articles, getting perspectives from not just myself but
others as well, and adding a few statistics. I have a lot of ideas on what I
want to add in my video the hardest part is incorporating them.
To make this video at a college
level it has to be very informational and the facts should be from real
sources. I plan on starting my video off with a skit of what the problem is.
Off of that I want to have interviews of people and what their situation is
with their roommates and living in the dorms. I think it’s important to hear a
variety of other people’s stories so you can get an idea of how they deal with
it. Something that we talked a lot about all semester in class was what a good
inquiry question consists of. Therefore, I want to add questions having to deal
with these issues and include detailed answers.
Lastly, I want to include a lot of
facts and statistics to show that a lot of research was put into this project.
Theses facts will help prove a point that many first year students experience a
lot of problems with their roommates but there are ways to deal with it. Overall,
I think if I were to include quotes, other peoples perspectives, statistics,
and questions it would show a high level of college level thinking.
