This week’s vocabulary word is innovation. Innovation is a new idea, device, or method. It can also be defined as the introduction of something new. I think it’s important to be familiar with the word innovation and for students to apply it in college. It’s important because it requires you to further your thinking.

There are a few new words I learned this week and they are surreptitious and submissive.

Surreptitious is marked by quiet and caution and secrecy; taking pains to avoid being observed

Submissive is inclined or willing to submit to orders or wishes of others or showing such inclination
