I thought watching the video drafts in class was very helpful, it
have me more of an idea on how I need to make my video at a college level. I
noticed that everyone's videos were very different from each other. For
example, some people only used text , some had a lot of pictures and other
didn't. What really stood out to me was the music. It's really hard to stay
engaged when there's no music so I plan on adding that to my video before it's
finalized.
So while I revise my video I need to add a lot more to mine, even
though mine was basically just an introduction to what my topic was I noticed
things I would like to add by watching others videos. First, I want to make my
video flow so it makes sense. While watching some videos it was unclear to what
was going on and I don’t want my video to be like that. I also need to add a skit;
I enjoyed the videos that had their skits because it really enhanced people’s
videos. I also want to add music, pictures. I think with my topic, which is
problems with living in the dorm rooms, and dealing with roommates it will be a
good idea to add interviews as well!
All in all I have the base of my video now I just need to work
mostly on getting my skit down and making it structured so it all flows. I like
my topic but there's a lot you can talk about with it so I don't want to make
it too confusing. I think my skit will be the hardest since I'm not sure how I
want to go about it because I have many different ideas for it. I came up with
one idea for it that I really like and will probably stick to that one! Overall,
I enjoyed watching everyone's videos because it gave me an idea of what I
should and shouldn't add to my video.
